We are committed to adhering to the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, relevant regulations and standards.
It is our intention that people at all level in our business shall be committed to achieving the highest standard of health and safety management throughout the organization. To this end, all workers will be inducted to the Lester Civil and Drainage standard and it shall be reinforced to them that health and safety management is an integral part of our workplace and work practices. All workers will share the benefits of maintaining a healthy and safe place of work.   • Ensuring plant and substances are maintained in a safe state
  • Providing adequate welfare facilities for workers
  • Offering the necessary information, training, instruction, and supervision to protect workers from injury and health risks
  • Committing to consult and collaborate with workers on all health and safety matters in the workplace
  • Pledging to continuously improve safety performance through effective management practices

EMPLOYEES

Each worker has an obligation to:

Comply with safe work practices, with the intent of avoiding injury to themselves and other to damage to plant and equipment
Take reasonable care of their own health and safety and safety of others

Wear personal protective equipment and clothing where necessary Comply with any direction given by management in relation to health

and safety
Not misuse or interfere with anything provided in the interest of health and safety
Report all accident and incidents on the job immediately, no matter how trvial
report all known or observed hazards to their supervisor or manager
